My girlfriend and I woke early, packed up the Canons and headed for Red Rock Canyon. The forecast was clear and cold and cold it was, even for this midwest kid. We were out before 6 am, early enough to catch the magic hour of a warm sunrise. The sun finally made its way up and bathed the valley with a nice orange glow. We shot for about an hour and I must say once I got going the desert cold was fleeting. Here's one of my favorites, I'll post a color shot at a later date...I suspect the sunsets are quite extraordinary as well. Hope you like.

Red Rock Canyon - Las Vegas
My girlfriend and I woke early, packed up the Canons and headed for Red Rock Canyon. The forecast was clear and cold and cold it was, even for this midwest kid.
