Before departing Las Vegas I had the pleasure of photographing Shadow Ridge High School Senior, Jordan C., an interesting young man who loves Boxing, Business and Rugby...yes, that Rugby.  We chose my former neighborhood, The Las Vegas Arts Distirct, as a backdrop and headed out for some fun.  Here are a few of my favorites...

New Beginnings | Oliphant Photography | Kauai, Hawaii

February 20, 2015 - A liberating week on the island of Kauai was well needed.  I woke every morning, with camera in hand and walked the ocean shore to reflect on life; past, present, future.  The first morning, I caught an amazing sunset, but when editing the images, they reminded me of any typical postcard sunrise.  So I waited...every morning I greeted the mother sun and her vast array of light as she peeked above the horizon; however most were cloudy and did not move me in terms of color.  On my last day she shone her greatness and I produced the image below.

In a couple of months I'll be departing Las Vegas and it would be my honor to photograph the friends that I've met over the past 5 years.
